Saving Our Constitutional Republic – A Review of Federalist Paper #3

John Jay consistently argued about the international advantages of adopting the Constitution. In Essay #3, Jay argues for a strong central government as the best way to protect the country from war – specifically from:

  • Maritime Powers
  • Regional Despotism

Further, he argues that a single government could draw from “the best men in the country” and that the voice of America would come from a single source – not many.
