Charles (HBS ’72, US Naval Academy ‘64) is a full-time professionally certified executive coach who specializes in career management, critical skill development, and career crises.
Charles has extensive corporate experience that includes management consulting, top-level executive search (CEO’s and those reporting to the CEO), successful entrepreneurship, and military experience (nuclear submarines). He has been a frequent speaker at the nation’s top business schools on the topic of “How to Get Ahead in the Corporate World.”
His coaching credentials include being a certified professional co-active coach (CPCC), certification as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation and certified positive intelligence coach (CPQC). His principal focus is coaching or mentoring individuals with the MBA (or related) degree and is especially interested in helping those individuals with issues related to their careers and career advancement in all industry sectors.
He has served in numerous capacities in the Harvard Business School Club of Chicago including as President and a member of the Board of Directors. He has been a frequent speaker with the HBS Clubs including Chicago and New York.
Charles is a best-selling Amazon author who has published widely and has written three books related to careers: “WANTED: Eight Critical Skills You Need to Succeed,” “The Doom Loop,” and “Field Studies: Challenging Project-Based Learning for High School and College Students.”
